Settings → System → Task Types
Read-only catalog of every task type MisterShell knows how to dispatch to a worker. Task types are defined by the platform and registered at startup — this tab, on the System page, is the authoritative reference.
You cannot add or edit task types here. To run a task, use the feature that produces it (snapshot collection, session, diagnostic, etc.).
Table columns
| Column | Notes |
|---|---|
| Task Type | Stable task type identifier (e.g. network.ping, resource.check, ssh.session). |
| Description | What the task does, in one line. |
| Permission | The permission a caller must hold to dispatch a task of this type. |
| Timeout | Default per-task timeout in seconds. Some types accept a per-call override; this column is the platform default. |
| Schema | A check icon when the task type defines a schema for its payload; a cross when it does not (the task then accepts any payload, or none). |

Click the row to open a detail modal. If a payload schema is defined, the modal shows it as JSON; otherwise it says the task type accepts any payload or no payload.
